Dr. Richard Sorrenson manages The University of Auckland Foundation, ensuring that donors’ gifts are well stewarded, and assisting the Trustees in their governance responsibilities including the investment and distribution of Foundation funds, both endowment and current use. He also provides similar services to the three other charitable trusts that support The University of Auckland (UoA): the UK Friends of UoA, the Friends of UoA (US), and UoA School of Medicine Foundation. Richard is an alumnus of UoA (MSc in chemistry and physics) and his PhD (history of science) is from Princeton University.
