Canadian conductor Bernard Labadie leads the Auckland Philharmonia and Voices New Zealand in a performance of Mozart’s Requiem, written and left unfinished while the composer lay on his death-bed.  Labadie, heralded as a Classical and Baroque specialist, is the music director of the acclaimed early-music group Les Violons du Roy

The programme opens with two Haydn works, Symphony No.26 Lamentatione and Cello Concerto No.1 in C major performed by Alban Gerhardt who has performed with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
